 PrintMailers is a single source producer of turnkey direct mail
projects. Our capabilities include design, list acquisition and management,
offset and laser printing, and complete Lettershop and fulfillment services.
All of these services are provided in-house under one roof. We specialize
in managing and producing your entire project, and can provide the consultation
and expertise that you need to deliver quality programs that deliver results
for your customers. We are located in Houston, Texas in
a 110,000 square foot production facility.
Design and Proofing
Our staff includes a full-service design department that is well versed in the language of direct mail. We understand how to design both for response and for postal discounts. We operate with an entirely digital workflow, so you are ensured that the proof you approve electronically will be what is printed.
Our web site features a set of customer e-tools, which you can access through your own personal, secure customer folder. Your art or list files can be easily uploaded to us from within your folder. Electronic proofs in PDF format will be placed in your customer folder when ready, and you can print them on your local printer for review. This feature eliminates the time and expense of transmittal of paper proofs. Using Adobe Acrobat, you can also mark-up your proofs electronically and return to us for changes. Our Art and Pre-Press personnel are available to provide technical support on these systems.
Printing and Bindery
All of our printing services are provided with sheet fed offset presses. We operate 3 Komori 26" presses, a 2-color, 4-color, and 6-color, so each job can be matched to our equipment based on its requirements. Our 6-color press also includes an aqueous coater for a high-quality finish. We also operate a 2-color Halm jet press, which is especially designed for high volume envelope printing, and allows for full bleed, 2/2 envelope production. Bindery capabilities include cutting, folding, saddle binding up to 32 pages, and custom gluing of various products on the folder. We can provide competitive pricing for custom work on runs as small as a few thousand up to several hundred thousand pieces.
Lettershop
 Our Lettershop capabilities include the full range of addressing, inserting, laser personalization, and custom handwork. Our e-tools web system includes a postage calculator, allowing you to quickly estimate the postage required for almost any job and pre-pay the amount due on-line using an electronic check.
We operate two types of high-speed inkjets for addressing, utilizing Videojet and Hewlett-Packard technology. The Videojets are our workhorses, providing text-only addressing on virtually any stock. The HP machines will print up to a 600 dpi matrix, using variable graphics, a variety of fonts, and spot color in red, blue, or green, allowing for a higher quality and more custom look. All of these machines have in-line tabbing capability to take advantage of automation discounts. We also operate an old-style Cheshire labeler for those projects that just have to use paper address labels.
Our Rollem Perfer/Scorer gives us extra capabilities, such as stop-perfs for coupons and Business Reply Cards.
 We have extensive laser printing capabilities utilizing two Canon 105 ppm printers. Our data processing staff can program virtually any type of personalized piece, and we can print on letter, legal, or 11x17 sizes either simplex or duplex using uncoated stock up to postcard weight.
Machine inserting is performed on Phillipsburg 6-station inserters. We have a number of streamfeeders, which allow the inserting of Z-folded inserts, and can insert into any size envelope up to a 6 x 9". Either live stamps or meter imprints can be applied in-line.
For jobs that are not easily machineable, we have extensive custom handwork capabilities. This work must be quoted based on the individual job specifications due to its highly custom nature.
